Former Grand Junction Rockies players David Dahl and Raimel Tapia helped the World team gain an 11-3 victory over the U.S. team in the All-Star Futures Game on July 10.

Dahl made a crucial defensive play to secure a one-run lead when he threw Josh Naylor (Marlins) out at the plate from center field.

Offensively, Tapia scored a pair of runs for the World team. He also hit a two-run double with bases loaded in the ninth to give the World team an 8-3 lead.

Other PBL Alums participating in the Futures Game include: Anthony Banda (Helena Brewers, 2013); Amir Garrett (Billings Mustangs 2012, 2013); Nate Smith (Orem Owlz, 2013); Jharel Cotton (Ogden Raptors, 2012); Willie Calhoun (Ogden Raptors, 2015); and Hunter Dozier (Idaho Falls Chukars, 2013).
