Woodbridge, VA---The doubleheader for the Potomac Nationals on Saturday, July 23rd vs. the Winston-Salem Dash is sure to be one of the best nights of the season at Pfitzner Stadium, as the P-Nats celebrate "Halfway to Festivus!"

One of the more highly anticipated events since the P-Nats released the 2016 promotional schedule, "Halfway to Festivus" is set to be the most encompassing theme night of the season at The Pfitz.

The first 1,500 fans to the ballpark before game one of the doubleheader will take home a Frank Costanza Festivus bobblehead, presented by: Paxton Companies. Gates open at 4:30pm and game one of the doubleheader gets started at 5:00pm.

Every fan who enters The Pfitz to celebrate Halfway to Festivus will receive receipt of a donation made in their name to the Human Fund.

Hidden in five courtesy Potomac Nationals Gameday Programs will be an Atomic Sub card with Elaine Benes' fake phone number written on it and those lucky P-Nats fans who find the Atomic Sub card may turn in the card to the P-Nats' U.S. Coast Guard Fan Assistance Booth to claim a 2016 team signed baseball as a prize.

The Potomac Nationals are offering a slew of Festivus-themed ticket deals based around the all-inclusive Seinfeld-inspired halfway to the holiday gathering including:

Free grandstand tickets to the event for fans at the Potomac Nationals Ticket Office on the day of the game with proof of valid ID if those fans have any of these monikers in their full legal name:

  • "Costanza" or "Cosmo" or "Kramer" or "Kruger" or "Whatley".

Half price grandstand ($5) or reserved ($6) tickets can be picked up at the Potomac Nationals Ticket Office on the day of the game with proof of valid ID*:

To the backdrop of the Seinfeld theme song in all of its variations, Pfitzner Stadium will be engulfed with Festivus-style signage throughout the park commemorating the halfway mark to the holiday.

Festivus on-field promotions plus "The Strike" episode audio and video clips will be featured throughout the doubleheader. There will be an "Ode to Frank Costanza" video board tribute mid-game, a thank you message from the P-Nats to "The Strike" Season Nine, Episode 10 co-writer and real life founder of Festivus, Dan O'Keefe, and an "In Memoriam" remembrance of Daniel von Bargen, the late, great actor who portrayed Mr. Kruger in Seinfeld.

The P-Nats will show the "Festivus" Seinfeld episode on the video board in between the two games vs. the Dash.

In game two of the doubleheader, the P-Nats will wear themed "Halfway to Festivus" jerseys, sponsored by: Paxton Companies. These game-used, autographed jerseys will be auctioned off throughout the game with proceeds to benefit The Human Fund.

  • Bagels will be sold at the concession stand, which will be picketed by an "On Strike Worker."
  • Human Fund donations will be announced on the video board and over the PA system.
  • P-Nats Players' video board pages will feature different Seinfeld characters' headshots while the visiting team will be forced to view their dual-sided "two-face" headshots during the game
