Reggie Jackson Highlights Major RailRiders Announcement

Moosic, Pa. - Mr. October will be in NEPA this Friday, July, 22 at 5 p.m. Hall-of-Famer Reggie Jackson will be at PNC Field, "The Place to Be", for a major announcement regarding the SWB RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees). The press conference will include members of the RailRiders ownership and executive leadership. It will take place in PNC Field's entrance plaza with media and fans invited to attend. Mr. Jackson will be available for media interviews.

The RailRiders return home for a seven-game homestand starting on July 21 at 5:05 p.m. against the Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays). The Thirsty Thursday, presented by Budweiser, will sport $1 Bud Lights and $1 Pepsi products from the opening of the gates at 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Thursdays are also College Nights with a $5 lawn walk-up ticket to all college students with college ID. The day starts early with a Tailgate Party at PNC Field from noon until 4 p.m. The event features: live music from Jump the Train from 1 p.m.-4 p.m.; BBQ food and beer specials; free transportation to the Luke Bryan concert; a ticket-upgrade drawing at 4 p.m.; a premium tailgate experience; backyard games and more. Gates will open for the baseball game at 4 p.m.

Friday night's game will be New Jersey Devils Night at PNC Field. Fans clad in Devils gear will receive a $2 discount on tickets purchased at the PNC Field box office. Discounted tickets are also available online using the promo code: NJDEVILS. The night will include an appearance by former WBS Penguins coach and current Devils head coach John Hynes. Mr. Devil himself, former defenseman Ken Daneyko, and team mascot NJ Devil will also be on hand.
