July 19, 2016

The High Desert Mavericks, Advanced-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, welcome fans to Heritage Field for FREE on Tuesday, July 26 as the team takes on the Stockton Ports, Advanced-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. As a Thank You to the great High Desert community for the past 26 years of support, the Mavericks will open their gates and not charge for admission. FREE tickets for the 7:05pm game will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

"Our number one priority as a Minor League Baseball organization is giving back to the local community," said General Manager Ben Hemmen. "The Mavericks have been blessed for 26 years with unbelievable support from the surrounding area so we want to say Thank You to all our fans by giving them a game on us."

Tuesday, July 26 is a Texas-sized Tuesday which includes concessions discounts of $4 Mavericks Super Nachos, $4 Texas Ranger Burgers and $4 24 oz domestic beers. Tickets for that day will be available three ways: online now at www.hdmavs.com (normal online convenience fees will apply); by visiting the Heritage Field Box Office Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5pm; or at the gate as the "first 5,000 fans" who enter will receive FREE admission. Season Tickets, Groups, and other pre-purchased tickets will still have access to their seat location.

The Mavericks would also like to announce two Ticket Amnesty Nights during the second-half of the 2016 season on the following Wednesdays: July 27 and August 31. Any valid unused ticket from the 2016 season may be exchanged for a ticket to one of the two listed amnesty game dates.

The Mavericks' ask fans to bring their unused tickets to the box office to make each exchange. Any tickets (groups, individual, online purchases, season ticket, etc.) are transferable, but must be redeemed in person. This offer is not valid via phone or internet. Tickets may be traded in at the Heritage Field Box Office on the night of the game, but trading them in advance is recommended. Standard Box Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
