Mustache May Updated Standings

Shorebirds have raised nearly $200 at midway point of promotion
January 25, 2013
Salisbury, Md. - Mustache May is at the midpoint and the 'staches are starting to round in form. Head usher Irv Brumbley has received $77 to lead the way in the "Best Mustache" contest. All the money collected will benefit the "Strike Out Hunger" campaign, the main initiative of the 2011 South Atlantic League All-Star Game.

The Shorebirds started Mustache May on April 31 when all staff members and selected players and coaches shaved off all facial hair. The participants have been growing mustaches for two weeks.

Fans are encouraged to vote at Arthur W. Perdue for who they think has the best 'stache. In order to vote, fans must donate $1 to the "Strike Out Hunger" campaign.
