Phillies to hold second annual FanFest

Autograph session and team practice open to fans

READING, Pa. -- On Tuesday, April 3rd, the Reading Phillies will hold their second annual FanFest, thanks to Rock Hits Y-102. FanFest is a great way to kick off the season, allowing fans to meet the players they'll be cheering for in 2007. FanFest starts at 6 p.m. and admission is free.

The Phillies will kick off the event with a player autograph session from 6-6:30 p.m. After the autographs, the team will be welcomed to Reading through a formal introduction to the fans. At approximately 6:45 p.m., fans can enjoy an extremely rare opportunity to watch the team practice as they prepare for the 2007 season.

The main concession and beer stands will be open for anyone who would like to enjoy refreshments during the event. In addition, the souvenir stand will be open and features the latest R-Phils gear.

The Reading Phillies' FanFest is sure to be a special and memorable occasion for fans of all ages. It is an exciting opportunity to get to know the players before the season officially begins. Last season an estimated 3,000 plus fans attended the first annual event.
