Survive the zombie apocalypse on Friday, August 26

There will be something strange going on at Fifth Third Field on Friday, August 26. Be there to see if you survive the zombie apocalypse on 'Zombie Night,' presented by TeleSystem. Before the game, get transformed into a zombie by make-up artists in Hensville Park and enjoy a pregame 'Zombie Night' dinner with characters from 'The Walking Dead'.

Zombies may be slow moving, but tickets for the epic event will move fast!

 

Pregame Zombie Dinner

Come to the pregame 'Zombie Night' dinner and meet actors that have been featured on the hit television show, 'The Walking Dead.' The dinner will include an all-you-can-eat buffet and a chance to hear the cast members speak about their experiences on the show from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Hensville Park! Signed photos will be available for purchase from the actors themselves.

Actors scheduled to appear:

Michael Jaegers 

• He has worked on four seasons of "The Walking Dead" 
• He has been featured as 18 different zombies and has been killed by seven different cast members 
• Other cameos include "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals" 

Kent Wagner 

• Appeared in Season 5 of "The Walking Dead" 
• He was the first survivor at Grady Memorial who was killed and thrown down the elevator shaft 
• He has also been featured on "The Vampire Diaries" and "Sleepy Hollow" 

Chaz Lounge 

• Was featured in Season 2 of "The Walking Dead", and was gutted by Rick and Daryl to see if he had eaten Sophia.
• This character has since been made into an action figure, referred to as "Autopsy Zombie", "Woodchuck Walker", and "Professor Woodchuck"
• He was also a zombie in the recently released "Goosebumps" movie; other cameos include "The Hunger Games" sequels "Catching Fire" and "Mockingjay Part 1"

 

Zombies Crawl the Bases

All costumed zombies will be invited to 'crawl' around the bases postgame! Zombies can begin lining up in Section 115 on the main councourse immediately after the conclusion of the game. 

 

Postgame Fireworks

Stay in your seat after the completion of the game or head to the Hensville rooftops for a tremendous Mud Hens postgame fireworks display. The fireworks on 'Zombie Night' will be shot off to zombie themed songs!
