Bark in the Park

Join the Rome Braves Sunday May 29 at 5pm as we embark on the first ever Bark in the Park at State Mutual Stadium. Bring your dog and enjoy pre-game festivities, win prizes and receive a doggie bag full of goodies.

All fans bringing their dog to the game will need to enter and exit through Gate 6. Festivities begin at 3:30pm. Proceeds from Bark in the Park benefit the Coosa Valley Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 14/K9 Unit. Buy a Home Run Hill ticket for you and your dog and help the Rome City Police Department purchase a new K-9 for their unit.

Please read over the information below before bringing your dog to the game:

• All dog owners must sign a waiver prior to entering the stadium.
• All dog owners must enter the stadium through the Gate 6 Entrance.
• Dogs and Owners will be required to sit in the designated "Dog" section of Home Run Hill, and utilize all Concessions and Facilities located in the Home Run Hill area for this game.
• Dog waste scoopers and trash bags will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Dog owners are encouraged to bring waste clean-up materials with them as well.
• Dog owners are required to pick-up after their dogs.
• Water pools will be available on Home Run Hill for dogs in attendance.
• Dog & Owner Parade around the field will happen during pregame ceremonies. Dog owners are encouraged to arrive by 6:00pm at the Berm Gate Entrance to line up for the parade.
• Dog Contest - Dog Owners interested in entering their dogs for Most Spirited, Best Trick, and Looks Most Like Owner should sign-up at the Entry table located just inside the Gate 6 Entrance.
o Finalists will be announced during the game and should report to the Contest Entry Table at that time.
• All dog owners must exit the stadium using Gate 6.
