Homestand Notes
Hockey Night: 2013 Stanley Cup Champion Jamal Mayers will be on hand to throw out a ceremonial first pitch while Chicago Blackhawks full-time National Anthem singer, Jim Cornelison, will kick off the festivities with a rousing performance of the Star Spangled Banner. Following his first pitch, Mayers will be in the KidZone, behind the right field deck, to sign autographs from approximately 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. There is a limit of one autograph per person, however no photos will be allowed to accommodate as many fans through the line as possible. Fans are asked to provide their own items to be autographed.
Country and Western Night: Do-si-do on down to the ballpark as gates will open at 4:30 p.m. for a pre-game concert performance by the Suburban Cowboys at 4:45 p.m. in the Music Garden, presented by the Acres Group. Don't miss one of the Midwest's most sought after country acts! See how long you can stay on the saddle with the mechanical bull set up in the KidZone area, presented by Rainbow Play Systems, from 5-7 p.m. Following the game, enjoy a fireworks show set to some of country music's greatest hits.
