CURVE, Pa. - Reese McGuire and Anderson Feliz both matched career bests with a four-hit outings for the Altoona Curve in a 6-2 win over the Erie SeaWolves on Tuesday night at Peoples Natural Gas Field.

McGuire notched his fifth career four-hit game, and his first since August 26, 2014. Feliz accomplished the four-hit feat earlier this season on May 10.

Altoona (57-45) extended its winning streak to five games, and has complied a six-game winning streak against Erie (42-62) overall this season.

McGuire's fourth hit of the night came in the bottom of the seventh inning to single home Feliz, and give the Curve a 4-2 lead.

Eric Wood followed with his first RBI of the night to drive in McGuire, and Barrett Barnes scored Wood from first on an RBI single of his own to cap off a three-run seventh and give Altoona a 6-2 advantage.

Curve reliever Miguel Rosario tossed scoreless seventh and eighth innings for Altoona, allowing just one base runner in his two innings of work, and Jared Lakind threw a perfect ninth inning to seal the Curve win.

Erie scored the game's first run in the first inning against Altoona starter Clay Holmes (Win, 9-6) as Gustavo Nunez was caught stealing second and Wynton Bernard broke to the plate from third and scored to make it 1-0 SeaWolves.

The Curve answered back in the bottom of the second against SeaWolves starter Myles Jaye (Loss, 4-8) with the first of two Stetson Allie RBI hits on the night to tie the game at 1-1.

Allie broke a 1-1 tie in the fourth inning on an RBI infield single and Kevin Newman extended the Altoona advantage on a sacrifice fly, making it 3-1.

To accompany his four-hit night, McGuire also scored three of the Curve's six runs, also tying a career-best. Wood, Barnes and Allie also had multi-hit nights as the Curve totaled 16 hits.

The Curve and SeaWolves close their three-game set on Wednesday at noon. Curve southpaw Cody Dickson (8-3, 3.44) will match up against SeaWolves right-hander David Martinez (1-1, 2.30).
