PENSACOLA, Fla., - The Pensacola Blue Wahoos welcome the Mississippi Braves to Blue Wahoos Stadium beginning Sunday, July 31. This homestand features our Back-to School Bash, Fat Tuesday and our Wahoo Games celebration

What's Cookin': In honor of the Mississippi Braves ties to Atlanta, this homestand special is called the "Top Flight Sliders", a round trip of flavor and excitement. With grilled pork medallions smothered in red eye gravy and served on top of cornbread slider buns, this sandwich will take your taste buds for a trip. Served with coleslaw dressed in an apple cider vinaigrette to cut through the richness. This special is taking off from Port Side Grille for $10.

Who to Watch: Keep an eye on the number one overall prospect among Braves farmhands, INF Dansby Swanson. The first overall pick in 2015 has hit seven homers with 37 RBI for Mississippi. According to MLB Pipeline, Swanson is the fifth-best prospect in all of baseball, and his hitting ability is just one of many things scouts rave about.

McDonald's Family Sunday - Families can enjoy Sunday afternoons on the Pensacola Bay with the Blue Wahoos! Presented by McDonald's, kids can run the bases postgame and play catch on the field!

First pitch at 6:30 p.m., Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Giveback Monday - Join us for Giveback Monday presented by Pensacola News Journal. The top fundraiser of the night, Jay High School Cheerleaders, will receive $1000 from the Blue Wahoos prior to the game. The 50/50 raffle will also benefit Prince Hall Shriner's.
Jay Night - Join us in recognizing the local communities who support the Blue Wahoos!
Tuesday, August 2 vs. Mississippi Braves
First pitch at 6:30 p.m., Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Fat Tuesday - Fans have a chance to buy individuals tickets to the Winn-Dixie Party Deck for an all-you-can-eat buffet for 90 minutes. This features unlimited hamburgers, hot dogs and popcorn along with samples from Moe's Southwest Grill, Papa John's, Hemingway's Island Grill, Newk's Eatery and Pita Pit.
A Salute to Rice Night - Join us as we salute rice, especially Jerry Rice and Condoleezza Rice! A limited number of fans will receive a rice cake when they come through the front gate. Be sure to register at Fan Assistance for our rice eating contest and guess how much rice is in our jar!

Back-to-School Bash - Are you ready to head back to school? Head to Blue Wahoos Stadium to celebrate one of the final nights of summer before heading back to school!
Out-of-School Fireworks - Celebrate summer break with the best fireworks on the Gulf Coast presented by Studer Community Institute and Hill-Kelly Dodge.
Silver Wahoos - Our dancing group, the Silver Wahoos presented by The Retirement Planners, will perform at tonight's game.
Thursday, August 4 vs. Mississippi Braves
First pitch at 6:30 p.m., Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Throwback Thursday - Celebrate Happy Hour with Throwback Thursday presented by Seville Quarter drink specials as we go back in time. Don't forget you can park at Seville Quarter and take the Wahoo Choo Choo to Blue Wahoos Stadium.
Wahoo Games -Local Olympians Roy Jones, Jr. and Catie Ball (Condon) will be in attendance. Enjoy our Wahoo Waddle with drink specials for seven innings featuring the nations of the United States, Germany, Ireland, Jamaica, Mexico, Amsterdam and Belgium.
Roy Jones, Jr. - Roy Jones, Jr. will be in attendance to throw out a first pitch and sign autographs during the sixth inning on the concourse.
