Falcon Park to host Boy Scout, Girl Scout sleepovers

Scouts to sleep on the playing field after Doubeldays games

The Auburn Doubledays of the New York-Penn League, Single-A Short-Season affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are pleased to announce that Falcon Park will host a pair of scout sleepovers this summer. Boy Scout Sleepover Night will be held on Saturday, July 30 and Girl Scout Sleepover Night will take place on Friday, August 5. Game time each night is 7:05pm with stadium gates opening at 6:00pm.

Each Scout Sleepover will feature:

Scouts taking the field with the Doubledays for the National Anthem
An evening of Doubledays baseball
A spectacular post-game fireworks show
Post-game movie on the field
Sleepover on the playing field
Continental breakfast
VIP stadium tour
Scout Night Patch

"We are very excited about the opportunity to hold two sleepovers at Falcon Park this summer," said Doubledays General Manager Mike Voutsinas. "Thank you to the Longhouse Council Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of the NY Penn Pathways for working with us to put on these events."

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts interested in attending the games but not staying for the sleepover may do so by taking advantage of special ticket pricing for the night.
