Storm Win Three in a Row for First Time This Season

On Wednesday night in Lake Elsinore, the Storm scored early and often to beat the 66ers 9-6. With the win, the Storm have now won three games in a row for the first time in 2011.

Storm DH Jedd Gyorko continued to light it up, going 4-for-5 with three runs, one double, one home run and five RBI. Gyorko is batting .389(4th*) with 59 hits(2nd*), 19 doubles(1st*), 10 home runs(2nd*) and 41 RBI(1st*).

Other Storm contributors included CF Reymond Fuentes(2-for-2, 2 runs), LHP Zach Herr(2.0 IP, 2 SO, 1 H) and Miles Mikolas(1.0 IP, 2 SO, 1 SV).

Padres 2B Orlando Hudson rehabbed with the Storm on Wednesday night as well going 0-for-1 with two walks and two runs scored. He is scheduled to return to the Padres lineup Thursday.
