Rain Postpones Series Opener in Augusta

AUGUSTA, GA -- Due to heavy rain and thunderstorms, Monday's game against the Augusta GreenJackets has been postponed and moved to Tuesday as part of a doubleheader. Both games will be seven innings long, with the first starting at 5:35 p.m. Game two will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

This is the second time rain has postponed a game in Augusta. Columbia's contest against the GreenJackets on June 6 was moved to the following day because of rain. Tuesday will be the fourth true doubleheader of the season for the Fireflies.
