101.3 ESPN To Broadcast Games
Lake Monster broadcasts return to FM radio as the games move from The Zone 960am to the new 101.3 ESPN. Games will also be streamed live on the internet at 1013espn.com and vermontlakemonsters.com. Rob Ryan returns for his third summer as the voice of the Vermont Lake Monsters.
In addition, Ryan and Lake Monsters PA announcer Rich Haskell will broadcast 101.3 ESPN's "The Rob and Rich Show" live at Centennial Field from 4:00 to 6:00 pm weekday prior to Lake Monster home games. "There's nothing like summers in Vermont at Centennial Field, and Rich and I can't wait to spend the day at the ballpark, talking local sports with the local sports fans, and bringing Lake Monster baseball alive on the radio all summer long," says Ryan.
Along with the 38 home games, ESPN 101.3 are scheduled to broadcast 13 Lake Monsters road games starting with the team's season-opening three-game series at Tri-City June 17-19. The station will also broadcast Vermont's three-game series at Lowell June 26-28 and at Aberdeen July 13-15, while the Lake Monsters pair of two-game series at Tri-City July 4-5 and August 5-6.
The first of 38 home broadcasts will be Monday, June 20th when the Lake Monsters host the Lowell Spinners.
