C's to host 2nd Annual Brendan Gallagher Celebrity Softball Classic
Game benefitting Shriners Hospital for Children - Canada set for Saturday, August 13th at 7:15pm
(Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, B.C.) - Montreal Canadiens forward and former Vancouver Giant Brendan Gallagher will host his second annual Celebrity Softball Classic benefitting Shriners Hospital for Children - Canada on Saturday, August 13th at historic Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium in Vancouver, B.C. Doors are scheduled to open at 6:30pm with first pitch at 7:15pm.
The event will look to raise both funding and awareness for Shriners Hospital for Children - Canada while featuring many of the National Hockey League's bright young stars. Last year's inaugural game raised over $15,000.
Included on this year's rosters (subject to change without notice) are; Brendan Gallagher (Montreal), Milan Lucic (Edmonton), Lance Bouma (Calgary), Morgan Rielly (Toronto), Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (Edmonton), Mark Scheifele (Winnipeg) and Sam Reinhart (Buffalo) as well as former NHLers Paul Reinhart, Dave Babych and Kyle Wellwood among others.
