Logan Lombana activated from Restricted List

Roster now at 25 active players

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Minnesota Twins announce that RHP Logan Lombana has been activated from the Restricted List. Brad Steil, Director of Minor League Operations for the Twins, announced the move.

Lombana was placed on the restricted list on May 9th for 80 games after testing positive for a PED (performance enhancing drug). He made seven relief appearances for the Kernels this season, posting a 3.38 ERA in 16 IP. He allowed six runs (all earned) on 16 hits, walked five and struck out 16. The Twins selected him in the 25th round of the 2015 First Year Player Draft out of Long Beach State.

With today's transaction, the Kernels roster is at the Midwest League maximum of 25 active players, with seven players currently on the DL.

The Kernels continue a seven game home stand tonight at 5:30 PM against the Clinton LumberKings with the resumption of Thursday's suspended game. Gates open at 4:30 PM. The upcoming home stand continues through Tuesday, August 9th.
