Superhero Jerseys & Geekend in Zebulon

Geekend will feature superhero themed jerseys and more

ZEBULON, NC - The Carolina Mudcats present "Geekend" at Five County Stadium featuring Friday night fireworks, superhero themed game jerseys, a souvenir superhero cape giveaway on Saturday, August 13 and Superhero Day benefiting Bob's Buddies on Sunday, August 14. 

The superhero themed game jerseys will be worn by the Mudcats players and staff during Saturday and Sunday's games versus the Myrtle Beach Pelicans at Five County Stadium. The game worn and autographed jerseys will be made available for fans to purchase through an online auction held at http://auctions.carolinamudcats.com. Proceeds from the online jersey auction will benefit Bob's Buddies.

Geekend begins on Friday, August 12 with Star Trek 50th Anniversary Night and Friday night post-game fireworks. Friday's game is the first of a short three game home stand between the Mudcats and visiting Pelicans and will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday's game begins at 6:00 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.) and will feature a souvenir super hero cape giveaway to the first 1,200 kids ages 14 and under. Sunday's game is Bob's Buddies' Superhero Day and begins at 2:00 p.m. (gates open at 1:00 p.m.). Tickets purchased using the Bob's Buddies link on www.carolinamudcats.com for Sunday's game will directly benefit Bob's Buddies.
