FUNdamentally Different Homestand Highlights Aug. 11-15
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The FUNdamentally Different 2016 Jacksonville Suns season presented by EverBank continues Thursday, Aug. 11, through Monday, Aug. 15. The Suns host the Mississippi Braves, Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves for five-game series with a promotional lineup including the following highlights:

Mavericks Live Thirsty Thursday fueled by Budweiser: Fans can purchase $1 12-oz. and $2 24-oz. beers adjacent to the new Budweiser Tiki Terrace, under the left-field video board, at the right-field bleachers, and behind section 115.
"Show Me the Money" Night: In-game contests and videos will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film Jerry Maguire.

Friday, Aug. 12, 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)
NAPA Family Fireworks presented by NAPA Auto Care Center: At every Friday home game, the Suns have postgame NAPA Family Fireworks!
Red Shirt Friday: Fans are encouraged to wear red to support the military and save $1 per ticket at the box office, or donate the $1 to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The Suns are wearing red jerseys for every Friday home game this season.
Middle Child Awareness Night: Middle children can visit the Jacksonville Suns Facebook page for a contest to select a middle child for the middle ceremonial pitch. Pregame and in-game elements will also recognize middle children.

Baptist Health Superhero Lunch Bag Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans receive a free Suns superhero lunch bag.
Back to School Night: With school just around the corner, savor a Saturday evening as a family at the Baseball Grounds!
Sunday, Aug. 14, 3:05 p.m. (Gates open at 2 p.m.)
Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday: Kids can feel like the pros before each Sunday home game, as kids and their families can play catch on the field at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Then a Suns player will read a children's story to kids. Fans can also get their face painted free of charge behind Section 108, and there will be a kids crafts table on the concourse. Following the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases.
Get JAX'ed Day: Local fitness centers will compete in on-field contests. Fans may attempt challenges on the concourse.
Kid Olympics: For Olympics season, kids will have a chance to compete for medals in special events at the ballpark.
"Pitch" Premiere Screening: Following kids run the bases, fans are invited to watch the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville video board, which will show a free screening of "Pitch", a series premiering on FOX on Sept. 22.
