Todd Frazier Becomes 47th Dragon to Reach MLB

Dayton, Ohio- Todd Frazier, a member of the 2007 and 2008 Dayton Dragons, was called up to the Major Leagues by the Cincinnati Reds today. Frazier, who plays both the infield and outfield, will become the 47th former Dragons player to play in the big leagues when he makes his debut.

Frazier was playing for the Class AAA Louisville Bats of the International League this season, batting .293 with 11 home runs and 33 runs batted in. Frazier was batting .354 in 21 games in May.

Frazier played briefly for the Dragons in 2007 and then started the '08 season in Dayton. He appeared in 30 games with the Dragons in '08, batting .321 with seven home runs and 20 runs batted in.
