Second to Last Bees Homestand Begins Friday

SALT LAKE CITY (August 11, 2016) - The Salt Lake Bees begin the penultimate regular season homestand of 2016 with eight games at Smith's Ballpark starting on Friday night. The Bees will face cross-conference rivals Round Rock Express (Triple-A Texas Rangers) and New Orleans Zephyrs (Triple-A Miami Marlins) for the only time this season. Below is an overview of the activities, giveaways and community nights happening at the ballpark over the homestand.

Friday, August 12 vs. Round Rock Express, 7:05 p.m.

• Only series of the season against Round Rock, Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers.
• Student Neighborhood Access Program (SNAP) Postgame Kids Run on the field following the game.

Saturday, August 13 vs. Round Rock Express, 6:35 p.m.

• Daddy Daughter Date Night. A special $15 ticket package is available on slbees.com that includes a hot dog, ticket and drink.
• Princess themed fireworks show following the game presented by Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Sandy.
• Student Neighborhood Access Program (SNAP) Postgame Kids Run on the field following the fireworks.

Sunday, August 14 vs. Round Rock Express, 7:05 p.m.

• University of Utah Health Care Safe in the SUNday game. UUHC will hand out sunscreen and other sun-safe items at the game near portal 18.

Monday, August 15 vs. Round Rock Express, 7:05 p.m.

• Smith's Family Night. Families can purchase four tickets and four hot dogs for $20 at Smith's Tix locations.
• 2016 Salt Lake Bees team posters given out at the gates for the first 2,000 fans.
• Posters will be available to be autographed by the team near the first base entrance until 6:30 p.m.
• Little League equipment drive. The Bees and Smith's will be taking new and gently-used baseball equipment on the plaza to donate to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salt Lake. Donors will receive coupons to Smith's and raffle tickets for autographed Bees items.

Tuesday, August 16 vs. New Orleans Zephyrs, 7:05 p.m.

• Only series of the year against the New Orleans Zephyrs, Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.
• $2 Tuesday - includes two tacos for $2 or a box of popcorn and 12 oz. soda for $2.

Wednesday, August 17 vs. New Orleans Zephyrs, 7:05 p.m.

• The Bees and Vivint Smart Home will host Autism Awareness Night.
• First 2,000 fans will receive blue sunglasses from Vivint Smart Home.
• Cyprus Credit Union Dollar Dog Night with $1 hot dogs.

Thursday, August 18 vs. New Orleans Zephyrs, 7:05 p.m.

• 2016 Salt Lake Bees baseball card set giveaway.
• Thirsty Thursday presented by Coors Light with $2.75 drinks.

Friday, August 19 vs. New Orleans Zephyrs, 7:05 p.m.

• Salt Lake Buzz Throwback night, with 90's themed music and throwback Buzz jerseys.
• The Bees will celebrate former slugger David Ortiz with an Ortiz Buzz bobblehead giveaway for the first 2,000 fans.
• Student Neighborhood Access Program (SNAP) Postgame Kids Run on the field following the game.
