Pensacola and Tennessee Game Suspended
PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Pensacola Blue Wahoos and Tennessee Smokies will resume Thursday's game at 5 p.m. Friday after being rained out in the bottom of the second inning.
The teams will play a doubleheader with the first game going nine innings followed by a second seven-inning game.
Tickets for Thursday night's game may be exchanged at least 24 hours in advance of desired game at the Pensacola Blue Wahoos Box Office for a ticket of equal or lesser value. Tickets for Friday night's game will be good for both games of the doubleheader on Friday.
Starting pitcher Tyler Mahle had hit a two-out bouncer down the first base line into right field to score shortstop Zach Vincej, giving Pensacola a 1-0 lead.
Scheduled to pitch in the second game for the Smokies is RHP Jen-Ho Tseng (5-5, 3.44), who will face Blue Wahoos RHP Jackson Stephens (7-10, 3.16).
