Mark your calendars for the 2017 Mud Hens season
It is never too early to start planning! Thursday, April 13, 2017 opens the 16 season of Toledo Mud Hens baseball at Fifth Third Field. The team faces off against division rival Indianapolis in the first of a four-game series.
The Hens will play their first seven games on the road against West division opponents (April 6-9 vs. Indianapolis, April 10-12 vs. Louisville) before heading home to open the season on Thursday, April 13. Thirty-three of the 71 home games will be played on weekend dates (Friday-11, Saturday-11, Sunday-11). The final game of the 2017 season will be played at Fifth Third Field on Labor Day, Monday, September 4.
In addition to great baseball, Hensville will have plenty of activity before, during and after the game. Promotions include:
- Fireworks on all Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights starting in May
- Inflatable Theme Park during Sunday games
- Holy Toledo Tuesday and Thursday Art Loops
- FREE postgame concerts on select weekend dates

All 15 Opening Day games at Fifth Third Field have been standing room only sell-out crowds. Game Plans are on sale now for next season, and it's not too early to begin planning your group outings. Single game tickets for the 2017 season will go on sale at a later date.
