Julio Teheran to Rehab with G-Braves on August 14
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves, in conjunction with the Atlanta Braves, announced today that right-hander Julio Teheran is scheduled to make a rehab start with Gwinnett on Sunday, August 14 in a 2:05 p.m. game vs. Louisville.

Teheran, on Atlanta's 15-day disabled list since July 31 with a right lat strain, will make his first start since suffering the injury on July 30 vs. Philadelphia. The two-time National League All-Star is 3-9 with a 2.81 ERA and one complete-game shutout in 21 starts with the Braves this season.
It will be Teheran's first outing with Gwinnett since 2012, when he went 7-9 with a 5.08 ERA in 26 starts. The year prior, he went 15-3 with a 2.55 ERA in 25 games (24 starts) with the G-Braves, earning both the International League's Most Valuable Pitcher and Rookie of the Year awards.
In 124 career Major League games (121 starts), all with Atlanta since 2011, Teheran is 43-39 with a 3.33 ERA, five complete games and three shutouts.
Teheran is set to become the 11th player to rehab with Gwinnett this year, joining outfielder Ender Inciarte (May 4-6), infielder Gordon Beckham (May 6-8), right-hander Jim Johnson (May 28-31), right-hander Shae Simmons (May 16-18, June 5-8), shortstop Erick Aybar (June 3-11), right-hander Mike Foltynewicz (June 25), left-hander Eric O'Flaherty (July 14), outfielder Hector Olivera (July 19-29), right-hander John Gant (August 6-current) and catcher Tyler Flowers (August 13-current).
