Mudcats add doubleheader on August 30
ZEBULON, NC - The Carolina Mudcats announced today that the Sunday, August 21 postponed game in Wilmington versus the Blue Rocks will be made up as part of a doubleheader at Five County Stadium on Tuesday, August 30 with the first pitch of game one scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
The changes are as follows:
8/30 (GM:1) vs. Wilmington 5:00 p.m.
8/30 (GM:2) vs. Wilmington TBD (Makeup of game postponed on 08/21 in Wilmington)
The doubleheader will occur at the beginning of Carolina's final homestand of the 2016 season beginning on August 30 and concluding on September 5. It will also account for the first two of four total games over three days (August 30 and September 1) between the two clubs. The Mudcats will finish the 2016 season at home against the Winston-Salem Dash between Friday, September 2 and Monday, September 5.
Carolina's next homestand, however, begins on Tuesday, August 23 at Five County Stadium with game one of three versus the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. The three game, penultimate, homestand will feature #TrendingTuesday and Pokemon Go, Gotta Catch Em All Night on Tuesday, August 23, Weiner Wednesday on Wednesday, August 24 and Thirsty Thursday on Thursday, August 25.
