Leonardo Molina Named POTW

Pulaski Yankees' outfielder Leonardo Molina was named an Appalachian League player of the week for the week of August 15-21 which was announced by Minor League Baseball on Monday. Greeneville pitcher Jorge Alcala picked up the pitcher of the week award. Molina had an impressive week compiling a slash line of .444/.474/1.000 over the course of five games going 8-18 with two triples and two home runs with five RBIs. Molina joins fellow Yankees Kevin Cornelius, Chad Martin, and Blake Rutherford who have been named Players Of The Week this season. Pulaski completes the homestand against the Princeton Rays Tuesday at 7 p.m. for Mascot Night. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
