Fan Appreciation Weekend Sept. 2-5

The final weekend of the Omaha Storm Chasers' 2016 regular season schedule at Werner Park between Friday, September 2 to Monday, September 5 is Fan Appreciation Weekend. The festivities will be highlighted by two Post-Game Fireworks Extravaganzas, a 2016 Team Photo Giveaway, Specialty Jersey Auction, and the Night of 1,000 Giveaways.

Fans arriving early to each of those games Friday night through Monday afternoon will also be rewarded with Storm Front Team Store Specials. The first 50 through the gates each of those days will receive a 35% OFF coupon, with the next 100 fans receiving a 25% OFF coupon and the following 100 fans receiving a 15% OFF coupon. Gates open one hour prior to that day's first pitch time.

The fun begins on Friday, September 2 with the final Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks night of the season. That evening is also the last Blue Out of the season, with fans encouraged to wear blue, while the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Blue #StirUpTheStorm Rally Towel. The Storm Chasers will also host a Mystery Autographed Baseball Fundraiser, with fans able to purchase a signed baseball for $30, or two for $50 to benefit Chasers Charities. The identities, which range from any current or former Storm Chasers, Kansas City Royals, MLB or MiLB team, will not be revealed until fans open their purchased bag.

Fans will want to arrive early on Saturday, September 3, with the first 1,500 fans through the gates receiving a 2016 Team Photo Giveaway presented by the Nebraska Spine and Pain Center. In addition, the Omaha Street Percussion will be performing between-inning and outside the Werner Park gates before and after that day's game. Gates will open at 1:00 p.m. CT that afternoon.

Sunday, September 4 is the final U.S. Bank Family FUNday of the season. In addition to clowns, balloon artists and the Hardee's Kids Run The Bases, that night will be the Night of 1,000 Giveaways. Upon exit, fans will receive special commemorative souvenirs, along with other apparel, collectibles, special offers, and more from the 2016 Storm Chasers season.

Fans that evening will also have the opportunity to bid on Game-Worn Specialty Uniforms Storm Chasers players and coaches will be wearing to benefit Nebraska Organ Recovery. Fans with the winning bid can get the jersey from the player whose jersey they won after the game. The last Post-Game Fireworks Extravaganza of the 2016 season will also blast off following Sunday night's contest.

The Storm Chasers will then conclude their 2016 regular season campaign at Werner Park with a Labor Day matinee on Monday, September 5.It is the final Five Dollar Days special of the season, with a Nachos, Cheese and Soda Combo on-sale for a special price of just $5. First pitch of the season finale against the Oklahoma City Dodgers is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. CT.
