MSO Hub now open

Retail and tourism spot at Higgins & Main open from 10-8
May 31, 2011
The Missoula Osprey, in conjunction with Destination Missoula and Glacier Country Tourism, are busy putting the final touches on the MSO Hub, which will open to the public on Wednesday, June 1. The MSO Hub is at the corner of Main and Higgins, in the heart of downtown Missoula, and will be open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

The new location at 140 North Higgins dubbed MSO Hub, a dynamic retail and tourism destination, will be a one-stop-shop for Osprey, Montana Grizzlies and Made in Montana merchandise. It will house a much-needed interactive visitor's center for Destination Missoula and will be a ticketing outlet for not only Osprey baseball games, but many other events in Western Montana. All three parties' business offices will be located on the second floor of the MSO Hub.

There will be events taking place throughout the remainder of the week at the MSO Hub. Tickets will go on sale for Willie Nelson in concert, featuring Lyle Lovett and His Large Band, beginning Friday, June 3, at 10 a.m. The concert will take place on August 2 at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. In addition, the Opening Ticket Day for the Osprey will be on Saturday, also beginning at 10 a.m., as it will be the first opportunity for fans to purchase individual tickets for each of the 38 home games on the Osprey schedule.

In the coming weeks, there will be more announcements for future events planned at the MSO Hub.

The 2011 home opener for the Osprey is slated for Wednesday, June 22 versus Helena. Tickets for the home opener will be available beginning on Saturday, June 4, at 10 a.m. at the MSO Hub Box Office, by phone at (406) 543-3300, or online at www.MissoulaOsprey.com.
