The Durham Bulls today announce their home schedule for the 2017 International League season. The team will open its 71-game home slate on Monday, April 10 against the Charlotte Knights, and conclude the DBAP schedule on Sunday, Aug. 27 against the Norfolk Tides.

Prior to the regular season kicking off, the Bulls will take on the Duke Blue Devils in an exhibition game on Tuesday, April 4 at the DBAP. The two teams that call the stadium home will meet in what will be a preseason contest for the Bulls, and a midseason scrimmage for the Blue Devils.

The Bulls will kick off their home regular season schedule at 6:05 p.m. on April 10 with a postgame fireworks show. Additionally the team will once again host a home game on the Fourth of July, while also hosting holiday games on Easter (April 16) and Mother's Day (May 14). The Pawtucket Red Sox, Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, visit for a weekend series from June 2-4, while the New York Yankees' top affiliate Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders also come to Durham for a weekend set from Aug. 10-13. The 2017 schedule features 11 Friday, Saturday and Sunday contests, with 21 fireworks shows to follow Bulls games.

After a one-year absence, USA Baseball will also return to the DBAP next year. Some of the nation's best collegiate baseball players from around the country will take center stage in the Bull City on July 1 and 3, with an additional fireworks show scheduled on July 3 to kick off back-to-back fireworks nights during Independence Week.
