Matt Harvey named FSL Pitcher of the Week

Port St. Lucie, Fla. - The Florida State League announced today that St. Lucie Mets starting pitcher, Matt Harvey has been named the Florida State League Pitcher of the Week for the week of May 23 - 29, 2011. This is the second time this season Harvey has won the award.

He started one game, recorded the win versus the Dunedin Blue Jays without allowing a run. In seven innings pitched he allowed three hits, no runs, issued one walk, and struck out 10 batters. He is in his first year of professional baseball and he resides in Groton, CT.
