South Bend Cubs Announce 2017 Schedule

SOUTH BEND, IN - As the South Bend Cubs begin their quest for the Midwest League Championship at West Michigan, the organization announced the 2017 schedule Wednesday.
"The 2016 season has continued the upward trend for our organization, highlighted by a 1st Half Division Championship and setting a new franchise attendance record for the third time in three seasons," said Team President Joe Hart. "As we prepare for the 2017 season, we will look to build upon the ground work we have laid over the last four years and make the 30th season of professional baseball in South Bend our best year yet."
The Cubs will open the 140-game regular season schedule with a home and home series against West Michigan. South Bend will travel to Comstock Park for a pair of games on April 6 and 7 before returning to Four Winds Field to open the home schedule on April 8 and 9.
Fans will kick-off the season with the return of Flat Screen Saturday and a special post-game fireworks display. A total of 18 fireworks shows and 11 flat-screen giveaway nights highlight the promotional schedule. More promotions and giveaways will be announced in the coming months.
Other schedule highlights include games on Memorial Day weekend (May 26-29), Father's Day (June 18) and Independence Day weekend (July 1-4). The team will wrap up the home schedule on September 1st and conclude the regular season on the road at Bowling Green (September 2-5).
All Monday through Thursday and Saturday home games start at 7:05 p.m., with the exceptions of May 3, 16 and 17 (10:35 a.m. start), May 29 (2:05 p.m.) and July 17 (1:05 p.m.). All Friday games will start at 7:35 p.m., and Sunday games will start at 2:05 p.m. Gates open 1 hour and 5 minutes prior to game time for Monday - Thursday games. Gates open 2 hours and 5 minutes prior to game time for Friday - Sunday games. All game times and promotions are subject to change.

The South Bend Cubs season ticket waitlist for 2017 is now open. Fans will receive priority access to purchase individual game tickets, concerts tickets and tickets to other special events at Four Winds Field before they go on sale to the general public. The waitlist is free of charge.
