Mopar Mega Block Party to Cruise Into Reading on September 21st

Event to kick off NHRA Keystone Nationals Race Weekend

The biggest block party of the year is going to hit Baseballtown on Thursday, September 21st when FirstEnergy Stadium hosts the Mopar Mega Block Party presented by Mopar and Savage 61 Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to kick off NHRA Keystone Nationals Race Weekend.

The Mopar Mega Block Party presented by Mopar and Savage 61 Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will feature free entertainment for everyone in the family with a wide range of fun-filled activities set for the day. To go along with the "Mega" Block Party, the event will be capped off by a fantastic fireworks show.

                Car lovers will be in for a treat at the Mopar Mega Block Party as the Raminator Monster Truck will be cruising through Reading to crush a litany of cars in the parking lot as well as give rides leading up to the car crushing. There will also be a Mopar Car Show with over 100 current and classic cars.

 NHRA drivers will participate in a special Home Run Derby on the field at FirstEnergy Stadium. Come see your favorite drivers go yard in this fun event hosted by Alan Reinhart.

GoGo Gadjet, one of the country's most cutting edge cover bands, will headline a full lineup of live music at the event. Originally from Berks County, Go Go Gadjet has honed their craft each year touring up-and-down the East Coast which has led to the creating of a finely honed entertainment machine. Also rocking on stage will be Liquid A, TJ Bebb, and Mike Noecker.

Throughout the day, the concession stands and bars will be open at FirstEnergy Stadium featuring popular ballpark fare and 87 different beer selections! Featuring a bounce house, giant slide, and more, the Fightins Phunland destination for kids will be open as well.
