Isotopes Park named one of nation's best

Minor League News and Ballparks.com have named Isotopes Park the fourth best ballpark in the country in their annual rankings of every stadium in Minor League Baseball. The criteria for the rankings include game-day experience, fan entertainment, and the ballpark's overall allure.

"The Lab," which finished sixth a year ago, moved into the top five after a fan-approval rating was added, making Isotopes Park one of the most popular destinations for baseball fans throughout the country.

Other amenities cited by the ranking included Isotopes Park's "carnival-like" main concourse, state-of-the-art sound system, and the sky-boxes, which were declared the best "built, appointed, and catered in the country."

The overall experience of watching a game at Isotopes Park was also singled out by Minor League News and Ballparks.com as being "first-rate."

National accolades are nothing new for Isotopes Park, which last year earned the prestigious Best Collegiate Field Award by the SportsTurf Managers Association.
