Storm Chasers Baseball Ready for TV Debut
Storm Chasers home games on June 13, June 27 and July 25 will air across the region on Time Warner Cable Metro Sports in the Kansas City area, in Lincoln, Neb., as well as on Cox Channel 2 in Omaha, reaching more than one million viewers. Chasers radio broadcaster Mark Nasser will deliver the television play-by-play alongside former Kansas City Royals pitcher Al Fitzmorris.
"We are excited to form a partnership with Time Warner Cable and Metro Sports to be able to showcase Storm Chasers baseball throughout the Midwest," said Storm Chasers Vice President/General Manager Martie Cordaro. "We hope fans locally will come out to be a part of the first TV games in Werner Park history and we hope to put on a great show for fans watching on television throughout the region."
The televised games will provide fans their first glimpse of Mike Moustakas, Mike Montgomery, Lorenzo Cain, David Lough, Johnny Giavotella, Clint Robinson and other prospects that have fans optimistic for a bright future. Omaha's roster also includes players already familiar to Royals fans from their time in Kansas City including Jarrod Dyson, Kila Ka'aihue and Jeremy Jeffress.
