ValleyCats Mobile Application Released

TROY, NY- Fans of the Tri-City ValleyCats will now be able to follow their team wherever they are, thanks to the new ValleyCats Mobile App presented by AT&T. The app includes live radio streaming of every 2011 home game, as well as many other features to stay updated on the defending New York-Penn League champions.

This FREE app is currently available for download on the Droid platform and will be released for the iPhone on June 14, in time for the start of the 2011 season.

The ValleyCats Mobile App will make it easier for fans with a smartphone to enjoy the 2011 season at Joe Bruno Stadium. It gives fans the ability to buy tickets from their phone and includes mobile access to the team schedule, seating chart, stadium guide, coupons, weather and promotions calendar.

The app is also linked to the AT&T Text the DJ promotion, which allows fans to vote for a song they would like to hear at a specific time in the game.

Fans with the ValleyCats Mobile App will be able to follow every pitch of the 2011 season. In addition to live radio coverage of all 38 home games, the app will provide live game tracking for every home and away game the ValleyCats play this season. Fans also have the team roster, statistics and box scores at their fingertips, as well as the league standings and the latest ValleyCats news and headlines.

The app also includes social media integration, making the ValleyCats Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and 'Cats Corner blog just a click away.

The ValleyCats begin their New York-Penn League title defense at "The Joe" on Friday, June 17, when they host the Vermont Lake Monsters at 7 p.m.
