The San Diego Chicken, Faith and Family Night and Father's Day headline the fifth homestand

MEMPHIS, TN - The Redbirds return to AutoZone Park for their fifth homestand of the season after a four-game series in Oklahoma City and a four-game series in New Orleans. While home, the 'Birds will host the New Orleans Zephyrs (Florida Marlins affiliate) and the Nashville Sounds (Milwaukee Brewers affiliate). The Redbirds homestand will be headlined by the San Diego Chicken on Friday, June 17, Faith and Family Night on Saturday, June 18 and Father's Day Sunday, June 19.

Monday, June 13, 2011 - Redbirds vs. New Orleans Zephyrs (7:05 p.m.)

  • ·         Tickets for Peanuts: Every Monday fans can bring a receipt to the box office from Kroger for Jimbo Jumbo's peanuts and receive half off game day ticket prices.

Thursday, June 16, 2011 - Redbirds vs. New Orleans Zephyrs (11:05 a.m.)

  • ·         MLGW Sumer Camp Day: To welcome summer in style, the Redbirds are hosting their annual Summer Camp Day. There are two different ticket options to choose from, outfield box seats for $6.00 each or field box seats for $7.50 each. Catering options are also available. Camps can pay an additional $6.00 for each child to enjoy a hot dog and Coca-Cola soft drink, $13.00 for a two hour unlimited buffet filled with hot dogs, chili, nachos, watermelon, ice cream cups and Coca-Cola soft drinks or purchase the larger two hour unlimited buffet at $17.00 per child that includes hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ baked beans, coleslaw, potato chips, watermelon, ice cream cups and Coca-cola soft drinks. Groups are also able to purchase $5.00 Boardwalk wristbands for unlimited games and rides. Free bus parking is also available.   • ·         'AYCE' Seats: Any Thursday throughout the season, there will be an all-you-can-eat buffet and outfield box ticket available now for only $18.00 brought to you by T-Mobile. The buffet begins once gates open and lasts for two hours.
  • ·         Subway Eat Fresh Thursday: Fans can receive half off game day ticket prices with a receipt from Subway, limit four. There will be a $25 Subway gift certificate given away during the game and if the Redbirds win, Subway buy one, get one coupons will be distributed upon exit.
  • ·         TGI Friday Coupons: Fans will receive TGI Friday coupons upon exiting the ballpark.

Friday, June 17, 2011 - Redbirds vs. Nashville Sounds (7:05 p.m.)

  • ·         San Diego Chicken Appearance: The World Famous 'San Diego' Chicken will bring his legendary act to AutoZone Park courtesy of FedEx. This Chicken has reached icon status as a sports and entertainment personality throughout the nation and the world. He was named one of the Top 100 Most Powerful People in Sports of the 20th Century and was one of the first mascots to continuously attend sporting events. He is also scheduled to sign autographs post-game.
  • ·         City Market Coupons: Fans will receive City Market coupons upon exiting the ballpark.
  • ·         E-payment Brochures: Fans will also receive E-payment brochures upon exiting the ballpark.

Saturday, June 18, 2011 - Redbirds vs. Nashville Sounds (6:05 p.m.)

  • ·         Faith and Family Night: Faith and Family night is presented by LifeWay Christian Stores and Babytime. There will be a one hour pre-game concert by Christian recording artist, John Angotti starting at 4:15 p.m. in the plaza. Gates will open an hour early, at 4:00, for fans to get situated before the concert begins.
  • ·         Signature Saturdays: Select Redbird players will sign autographs for a half hour on the concourse starting when gates open.
  • ·         Babytime Baby Race: The Redbirds and Babytime will hold their second Baby Race at AutoZone Park. Three babies will be selected to go on field and crawl to the finish line. For more information and dates of other races visit http://tinyurl.com/3kyzadp.
  • ·         Babytime Nursery Makeover: The Redbirds will reveal the winning family for the Babytime Nursery Makeover at this game. Babytime and the Redbirds have teamed up to give one underprivileged family the nursery of their dreams. The renovated nursery will be revealed to the family on August 13.
  • ·         Face Painting: Face painting will be offered on the concourse before and during the game.
  • ·         Post-game Fireworks: Fans are encouraged to stay and enjoy post-game fireworks sponsored by ServiceMaster.

Sunday, June 19, 2011 - Redbirds vs. Nashville Sounds (6:05 p.m.)

  • ·         Father's Day: A special Father's Day ticket and buffet is being offered for this day only. For only $32.00, a fan will receive a club level ticket and enjoy the two hour all-you-can-eat buffet of classic ballpark fare.
