Dragons V.P. Brandy Guinaugh Earns Major Honor
Dayton, Ohio-Brandy Guinaugh, Vice President of Sponsor Services for the Dayton Dragons, has been selected as the Midwest League's Woman Executive of the Year. The honor also carries the league's nomination for the national award, Minor League Baseball's Rawlings Woman Executive of the Year.
The Rawlings Woman Executive of the Year is awarded to one individual from among approximately 180 teams in all leagues in Minor League Baseball. It is presented "to a woman who has made outstanding contributions to her club, her league, or to baseball."
"Brandy has been a huge part of the Dragons organization since she joined us in 2004, rising to her current role of Vice President," said Robert Murphy, Dragons President & General Manager. "She is a tremendous leader for our entire staff and particularly for her department. Her combination of enthusiasm and meticulous work standards have been a great contribution in the Dragons overall success."
A 12-year veteran of the Dragons, Ms. Guinaugh is an integral member of the organization. As Vice-President of Sponsor Services, she is responsible for the execution, delivery, and fulfillment of the organization's sponsor agreements and suite contracts. She is also responsible for the coordination of over 50 non-baseball stadium events. Ms. Guinaugh oversees the Dragons sponsor services staff along with the development, creation, and production of all sponsor-related marketing materials and promotions. These duties include the management of local radio and television broadcasts; sponsorship-related direct response newspaper ads; design, print, and delivery of our game night program; interfacing with the Dragons Creative Department on the development of LED and LCD animations; and the creation of customized, year-end annual reports provided to sponsors as proof of performance.
