Personnel News from Everett AquaSox
EVERETT, Wash. - There are some personnel happenings to report from the Everett AquaSox (Short Season-A; Northwest League), who have added two new staff members and promoted two others.
The AquaSox are pleased to announce that Rick Maddox has accepted the role of Assistant General Manager. Rick previously held the position of Director of Food and Beverage while also serving as Finance Manager. Maddox joined the ballclub in 2015 and is a graduate of Washington State University.
Alex Clausius, another graduate of Washington State, has been promoted to the new role of Team Operations and Ticket Sales Manager for the club. This new role will extend his duties to include more management of team travel and player relations.
Newcomer Gary Olson was named as the new Director of Tickets. Olson, who was formerly the Director of Ticketing for the West Virginia Power, has worked with other organizations including Arizona State University (NCAA), as well as the Quad City River Bandits and Kane County Cougars (MiLB). Olson is a graduate of Quincy University and is originally from Des Moines, IA.
"The promotions of both Rick and Alex are well deserved and will only strengthen the AquaSox," stated general manager Danny Tetzlaff. "Rick is proven to be a leader for us and I look forward to having him take an even bigger role with the club going forward. Alex will also be a perfect fit in his new role working with the team."
"The addition of Gary Olson will help us continue to build upon the ticket success we have had over the years," added Tetzlaff. "I'm excited to have him join the club as he brings a wealth of knowledge to Everett."
Alex Michel joins the AquaSox as a Ticket Account Executive. Michel, a native of Lawrence, NJ is a recent graduate of York College of Pennsylvania and worked most recently with the Salem Red Sox. Alex will focus on selling all ticket plan options including season tickets and group outings.
