Nitro Circus coming to Melaleuca Field

Tickets go on sale Thursday to see Nitro Circus Live in Idaho Falls.

More than 30 motocross, BMX, scooter and inline athletes, including several X Games medalists, will stop by Melaleuca Field on June 30 during the action sports group's 2017 North American tour.

Tickets will be available at nitrocircus.com. Tickets start at $19 for general admission and range upward to $79 for a VIP package. VIP packages include better seats, rider rehearsal viewing, access to a rider Q&A session and several souvenirs.


The group has performed on five continents since its 2010 debut, the release said, including at sold-out shows in Madison Square Garden in New York City and London's O2 Arena.Nitro Circus athletes perform stunts, including flips and corkscrews, off of a 40-foot ramp. Athletes also take off using unusual contraptions, a release said, including tricycles, tall bikes, kayaks and whiskey barrels.

Nitro Circus, created by famous motor sports athlete Travis Pastrana, began as a TV show in 2006.
