FREDERICK, Md. -For the second straight season, Frederick Keys ticket plan holders are in for a treat. With the purchase or renewal of ANY ticket plan, the team is offering a Jonathan Schoop Bobblehead or a Dylan Bundy gnome. Both former Keys, Schoop played on the 2011 Mills Cup Championship team, while Bundy made his first stop in Frederick one season later.
The Schoop bobblehead and Bundy gnome are both EXCLUSIVE items and can only be acquired by purchasing a 2017 ticket plan. There are plenty of options to choose from including the Full Season Plan, 15 and 10 game options, the "Build-a-Plan" as well as the very popular Reserved Seat Flex Pack. Plans start for as low as $50.
Originally signed as a free agent in August 2008, Schoop played a large role in the 2011 postseason for the Keys, batting .314 while scoring six runs. Two years later, the Curacao native made his Major League debut for the Orioles. One of only three big leaguers to play in all 162 games in 2016, Schoop set career-highs in home runs (25) and RBIs (82).
The fourth overall pick in the 2011 draft, Bundy dominated the Carolina League after a promotion in May 2012. Going 6-3 with a 2.84 ERA, the right-hander was named a Carolina League all-star before eventually advancing to Double-A and later the Majors. Spending all of 2016 in Baltimore, Bundy finished 10-6 with a 4.02 ERA in 36 games. In the process, he became the 17th Orioles pitcher to post 10 wins in his rookie season.
