November 15, 2016

The Greenville Drive has announced that Nate Lipscomb will retire as Executive Vice President and assume the role of Special Advisor to the President beginning in 2017. Lipscomb led the team's transition into the Greenville market in 2005 and has been instrumental in building the organization's brand, corporate partnerships and community engagement initiatives since that time.

Craig Brown, President and Owner of the Drive stated, "Nate's leadership, business development and relationship building contributions have been invaluable as the Drive has grown and become the broad Community partner we set out to be." Brown noted, "We are delighted for Nate on his retirement, and very pleased he will remain as an active member of the Drive leadership team going forward."

Lipscomb commented, "It's been a tremendous privilege to work with a visionary leader like Craig, and to see the Drive realize its mission of creating great memories for our fans and a better quality of life in the Upstate." Lipscomb added, "I am looking forward to having some new discretionary time to enjoy, and to the ongoing fun and satisfaction of helping the Drive serve our remarkable Community and friends at fabulous Fluor Field!"
