Greg Gross ALS Auction on Saturday, July 23
Current Philadelphia Phillies hitting coach and former R-Phils hitting coach Greg Gross
is bringing his ALS Auction back to FirstEnergy Stadium for a second time this season, and
fans will once again have some great memorabilia to bid on.
On Saturday, July 23, the R-Phils will host the Binghamton Mets in game three of their
four-game series and the R-Phils, along with Gross, will once again hold this great event
at Americas Classic Ballpark.
During his time with Philadelphia (1979-1988), like many Phillies players, Gross began
working to help fight ALS and remained dedicated to the battle. ALS is commonly referred
to as Lou Gehrig's disease.
