June 30: Nick Markakis T-Shirt Giveaway

Salisbury, Md. - The Delmarva Shorebirds will host Nick Markakis T-Shirt Giveaway Night at Perdue Stadium on Thursday, June 30. The first 500 fans will get the t-shirt presented by Courtesy Chevrolet and Cadillac of Salisbury. It's also a Thirsty Thursday.

Nick Markakis played in 96 games for the Shorebirds back in 2004. He batted .299 with 11 home runs and 64 RBIs.

Markakis has turned into the most consistent offensive producer for the Orioles over the last five years. He has batted over .290 each of the last five seasons including a career best .306 in 2008.

It's also a Thirsty Thursday presented by 960 The Sports Animal and Kiss 95.9. Enjoy $1.50 12 oz. Miller Lite and Coors Light draft beer plus $1.50 12 oz. Pepsi drinks.

Two more t-shirt giveaways remain in the series after Markakis. On July 28, the first 500 fans will receive a Jayson Werth t-shirt and on August 25, the first 500 fans will get an Orlando Cabrera t-shirt.
