Prospectos a seguir Regla de Novatos "100-50"
Saltillo, Coah.- (www.saraperos.com.mx / Fernando Valdés) Sábado 10 de Diciembre de 2016. En un esfuerzo por promover el desarrollo de talento nacional, la Liga Mexicana de Béisbol autorizó el regreso de la regla de novatos "100-50" para la temporada 2017, donde jóvenes prospectos de Saraperos de Saltillo tendrán más oportunidades de mostrarse, sobre todo bajo la dirección de Orlando Sánchez, un manager que gusta de dar responsabilidades a los noveles.
La organización saltillense se ha caracterizado siempre por el impulso de prospectos tanto para Grandes Ligas, como para que hagan carrera en el beisbol mexicano, por lo que esta decisión tomada esta semana en las reuniones invernales en Washington, le abre la puerta a varios peloteros de los Saraperos, para que muestre su talento en la loma de pitcheo y además sus virtudes ofensivas y defensivas.
La última vez que se jugó bajó la regla de novatos, pidiendo 100 turnos al bat y 50 innings entre los jóvenes de cada escuadra fue en 2014, ese año los Saraperos alcanzaron su objetivo el 30 de junio, Francisco Ferreiro sumó 114 apariciones al bat y Martín Cervantes un turno, mientras que en el pitcheo, Jesús Ricardo Verduzco contabilizó 12.2 entradas, Misael Verduzco 27.2 episodios, Sergio Donnet Zamudio que lanzó 36.3 capítulos y Óliver Domínguez.
Para la temporada de 2017 se abre esta oportunidad a la ofensiva para el jardinero saltillense Fabricio Macías Vargas, quien tuvo un destacado debut en LMB a sus 18 años, bateó .300 con el madero, 3 hits en 10 turnos, 2 anotadas y 2 producidas, además de lucir a la defensiva con grandes lances y sacando con su poderoso brazo a los corredores en las almohadillas, antes de debutar lució como quinto mejor bateador de la Liga Norte de México con Tecate, con .316 con el madero, 61 hits en 59 juegos, 9 dobles, 3 triples, 36 anotadas, 2 jonrones, 32 producidas y 12 robos de base.
El pelotero de Hermosillo, Sonora, Norberto Obeso, pertenece a los Azulejos de Toronto, pero en caso de que los Saraperos pudieran conseguir que lo opcionen a México, sería una gran oportunidad de ver su crecimiento como beisbolista, pues viene de ser uno de los mejores bateadores en la Copa Mundial de Beisbol U23 con México, al batear un grueso .433 con el madero, 13 hits en 30 turnos, 9 carreras anotadas, 3 dobles, 1 triple, 1 jonrón y 6 producidas. Además ya se dio el gusto de debutar en la Liga Mexicana del Pacífico con Naranjero de Hermosillo, suma 3 hits en 12 turnos, 3 anotadas, 1 jonrón y 1 producida.
El receptor de Guasave, Jibrán Castro debutó en la LMB en este 2016, bateó .500, de 8-4 en sus turnos, 1 anotada y dos producidas, pero ya está listo para recibir más responsabilidades detrás de home.
Otro saltillense que está listo para debutar en la Liga Mexicana de Béisbol, es Javier Ignacio Mireles Alvarado, segunda base de 20 años, quien la primera mitad del torneo de la Liga Norte de México estuvo entre los mejores bateadores, terminó con 51 hits en 60 juegos, 23 anotadas, 8 dobles, 21 remolques y 9 robos de base, un pelotero dinámico y con un brazo arriba de promedio en el infield, aunque también puede jugar en los jardines.
Otro prospecto saltillense que está en la antesala de su debut en LMB es Fernando Villegas Luna de 18 años, quien este año en Doble A de la Academia dejó muy buenas cifras, al batear .333 con el madero, 69 imparables en 52 juegos, 44 anotadas, 25 dobles (Campeón en la Academia), 3 triples, 2 cuadrangulares, 36 producciones y 4 robos de base.
BRAZOS IMPORTANTES PARA SALTILLO EN 2017
En cuanto a los lanzadores, se abren las posibilidades para el pitcher derecho Misael Alejandro Verduzco Guardado de Hermosillo, Sonora, cuenta con 22 años, experiencia de dos años en Liga Mexicana de Béisbol en 2012 y 2104, viene de destacar en la Copa Mundial de Béisbol U23 celebrada en Monterrey y Saltillo a finales de octubre, donde lució con un triunfo en 4 relevos, 7 entradas sin permitir carrera y 4 ponches, ante escuadras como Japón, Campeón del certamen, además de Korea, China Taipei, Australia, Venezuela, entre otras.
El zurdo Jesús Ricardo Verduzco López, tiene 23 años, experiencia tanto en LMB (2012, 2014 y 2015), sus números en verano son 1-0, 3.98 de efectividad, 63 juegos, 31.2 entradas, en Liga Mexicana del Pacífico con Cañeros de Los Mochis (2014-2015 y 2015-2016), está completamente recuperado de una lesión en su brazo de lanzar y será una de las cartas fuertes en el relevo situacional.
Esta campaña que transcurrió, el zurdo de Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Carlos Zúñiga Merancio debutó en la LMB, con 21 juegos, su marca 0-0, 10 entradas y 4 ponches, por lo que estará disponible para seguir mostrando su capacidad con Saltillo.
Otro lanzador que está cerca de debutar en el béisbol mexicano es el diestro Jesús Abelardo Huerta Herrera, de Hermosillo, Sonora, cuenta con 22 años, este año en la Liga Norte de México, lució con los Toritos de Tecate, Baja California, al dejar marca de 1-2, 2.76 de efectividad, 32.2 entradas de trabajo y 23 ponches, en elemento a seguir en el campo de entrenamiento de la nave verde.
Luis Felipe de Luna Suárez, es otro lanzador derecho de 21 años nacido en Aguascalientes, que puede llegar a hacer el grado, con Toritos de Tecate tuvo 9 aperturas, su marca de 6-3, 4.47 de efectividad, 54.1 innings y 34 ponches.
En ese mismo equipo participaron Salvador Hernández Gallegos, relevista derecho de Lagos de Moreno Jalisco, con 19 años, dejó cifras de 2-2, 30 entradas y 27 ponches; otro lanzador que va madurando es Salvador Reatiga Ocampo, de 18 años, de Ciudad Obregón, este año en clase doble A de la Academia tuvo récord de 3-2, 3.93 de efectividad, 50.1 entradas y 37 ponches.
