1. JP Crawford played for the BlueClaws in 2013-14 and split this year between Reading and Lehigh Valley. When Crawford debuted with Lakewood in 2013, he was the first high school draftee ever to reach the BlueClaws in the year they were drafted. This is the third straight season he is the number one prospect on this list.

2. Mickey Moniak was the top overall pick in the 2016 draft. The San Diego native played for the Gulf Coast Phillies last summer and could be with the BlueClaws in 2017. If he does, he would surpass Gavin Floyd (4th overall pick in the 2001 draft) to play for the BlueClaws.

3. Jorge Alfafo, a catcher, came to the Phillies in the Cole Hamels trade in 2015 and spent last year with Reading.

5. Sixto Sanchez, a starting pitcher, spent last year with the Gulf Coast Phillies, going 5-0 with a 0.50 ERA. He allowed three earned runs in 54 innings of work with 44 strikeouts and eight walks. The 18 year old from the Dominican Republic will not turn 19 until 29th.

6. Rhys Hoskins played for the BlueClaws in 2015, earning a mid-season promotion to Clearwater after the South Atlantic League All-Star Game. This year with Reading, he hit 38 home runs and drove in 116 runs

7. Franklyn Kilome is the lone player on the Top Ten that played with the BlueClaws in 2016. The right-hander went 5-8 with a 3.85 ERA, though his ERA was just 2.74 after his first three starts. Kilome threw seven shutout innings and was the winning pitcher in Game One of the 2016 South Atlantic League Championship Series.

8. Roman Quinn played in Lakewood in 2013 and stole 32 bases in 67 games. After 71 games with Reading this year, he was promoted to the big leagues and played 15 games with the Phillies.
