Scrappers return to Eastwood Field on July 2 & 3, PLUS $5 Box Seat Ticket Offer!

Niles, Ohio - The Scrappers are back in action at Eastwood Field on Saturday, July 2 as the Batavia Muckdogs, a Class A Affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, roll into the Mahoning Valley for a two-game series. The team took two out of three games in a series against Batavia played from June 20 through June 22. The previous series was also played at Eastwood Field. In addition to the on field action, the Scrappers offer exciting promotions for fans during Independence Day weekend, including a special box seat ticket offer good for July 2 and 3 only!

A special $5 box seat ticket offer is available for both the Saturday, July 2 and the Sunday, July 3 games. Fans can print this coupon, bring it to the box office, and receive box seat tickets for only $5 per ticket. Box seat tickets are regularly priced at $9 each. An upgrade to a premium box seat can be purchased for an additional $2 per ticket.

The Scrappers begin the series versus Batavia on Saturday, July 2. The night is home to the Scrappers Youth Jersey Giveaway presented by Armstrong. The first 750 kids ages 12 years old and younger through the gates receive a Scrappers youth jersey courtesy of Armstrong. The game is also a Kids Eat Free Saturday presented by Pizza Hut, 21 WFMJ, WBCB, and 570 WKBN. Kids ages 12 and under receive a voucher for a free slice of a pizza, a bag of chips, and a 12 ounce drink.

The second and final game of the Scrappers series against the Muckdogs is Sunday, July 3. Sundays at Eastwood Field are Family Fun Days presented by Home Savings and Mix 98.9. The game features kid themed promotions, like inflatable games, face painting, and more. Additionally, kids are free to run the bases after the game. Sunday is also Patriotic Night complete with promotions paying tribute to Independence Day.
