July 4th Celebration Opens Homestand

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians return home for five division games in a seven-day stretch at Victory Field beginning on July 4 with an exciting Independence Day celebration that includes fireworks and two special giveaways. Fans can then continue their summer fun at the ballpark with an Indianapolis Star 2-for-1 Tuesday, before enjoying the entertaining ZOOperstars! on ZOOper Zaturday and taking home a 2011 Indians Card Set on Souvenir Sunday.

Mon., July 4 -- Toledo @ 6:05 p.m.

* Independence Day -- Celebrate our nation with a special holiday start time of 6:05 p.m.
* Fourth of July Fireworks -- Stay after the game and enjoy a spectacular Indians fireworks show that will light up the downtown skyline and celebrate the holiday with a BANG! Then stick around for a great view of the downtown Indianapolis Downtown Freedom Blast fireworks show.
* American Flag Giveaway -- The first 10,000 fans entering the ballpark will receive an American Flag in honor of the holiday.
* Rally Towel Giveaway -- All 14,200 fans entering the ballpark will receive this one-of-a-kind Rally Towel to cheer the Tribe to victory.
