Ems Look Forward to Jam-Packed 8-Game Home Stand

EUGENE,OR- Starting Monday, July 4th, the Eugene Emerald's are kicking off an eight-game home stand where they will face the Vancouver Canadians and the Yakima Bears. Next week will feature the 4th of July firework show presented by Seven Feathers Casino, Military Appreciation Night sponsored by Original Roadhouse Grill, Myron Noodleman brought to you by Pepsi, and All Faith Day sponsored by Northwest Christian University.

Monday, July 4th, the Emeralds will begin a three-game series against the Vancouver Canadians. The much-anticipated Seven Feathers 4th of July fireworks show will start directly after the game. Don't forget, it's also Northwest Community Credit Union Margarita Mondays featuring $4 margaritas. Tickets for the 4th are almost completely sold out; you can still get bleacher and standing room tickets.

The Ems are honoring our troops on Friday, July 8th with Military Appreciation Night presented by Original Roadhouse Grill. The National Guard will have interactive displays and games in the park. There will also be $7 tickets with a current military ID.

On Saturday, July 9th, Pepsi presents the return of Myron Noodleman. A sharp dressed man with moves to match, Myron has been performing his craft at ballparks, stadiums and arenas since 1992. Myron is too cool to just label him a "nerd." Let there be music and Myron will steal any scene!

The last of the upcoming home stand's big promotions occurs on Sunday, July 10th. Northwest Christian University is presenting All Faith Day. There will be a post-game panel facilitated by Baseball Chapel featuring Emeralds RHP Chris Haney, current Yakima Bears and former Duck Danny Pulfer as well as other current and former UO athletes. The panel will be mediated by former Duck and current NFL punter Josh Bidwell as well as a special message from former NFL coach Tony Dungy.

The Emeralds will keep the theme nights to a minimum Tuesday through Thursday, sticking to the following weekly promotions:
•Tuesday, July 5th- Bring your Bi-Mart card and receive four tickets for $20; KRAFT Buy one ticket and get one free from KRAFT Singles when you bring a package wrapper to the Emeralds Box Office. Tuesdays are also Microbrew Tuesdays, featuring a drink specials for Ninkasi and Oakshire beer.
•Wednesday, July 6th- Carl's Jr. Family 4-pack Wednesdays-Carl's Jr. Family 4-packs are good for any Wednesday home game where for just $48 you get 4 tickets, sodas, hot dogs and chips at an Ems game, 4 Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger at Carl's Jr., 2 games of bowling at Emerald Lanes, 2 free cups of frozen yogurt at Yogurt Extreme with the purchase of 2 others and ½ off an Oil Change at the Tire Factory in Eugene.
•Thursday, July 7th-Thirsty Thursday featuring discounted Budweiser and Pepsi products.
