Brad Lidge to Rehab With 'Claws Thursday
He threw a scoreless inning in Monday's game, allowing two hits and throwing 15 pitches in the first inning. He is again scheduled to start the game for Lakewood, after which LHP Ervis Manzanillo will take over.
Lidge has missed the year with a strained right rotator cuff.
Acquired in a trade with the Astros in November of 2007, Lidge has 99 saves with the Phillies over his three years with the team and 222 over his nine year major league career.
He is the third Phillies player to rehab with the BlueClaws this year, following JC Romero (May 3rd) and Shane Victorino (May 28th and 29th).
The BlueClaws are 19-10 all-time when a Phillies player rehabs at FirstEnergy Park, including Monday's 3-2 win over Hagerstown.
Thursday's game will also feature an autograph signing by Jack Morris, thanks to Ford, as well as Thirsty Thursday, with $1 beer and soda plus 50-cent wings in the Coors Light WRAT Trap.
Tickets for Thursday's game are now available by calling 732-901-7000 option 2 or online at BlueClaws.com.
