Tonight's Cardinals Game Postponed Due to Rain
The teams will play a doubleheader Sunday, July 8, with Game 1 beginning at 4:05 p.m. The two games are scheduled to last seven innings each with a 30-minute break in between. Gates will open at 3:00 p.m.
Tickets for tonight's game can be exchanged for any remaining Florida State League game at Roger Dean Stadium, based on availability. Exchanges can be made at the stadium box office.
Tomorrow, July 9, the Cardinals and Blue Jays will open the series with a regularly-scheduled 5:05 p.m. start time. Saturday is Movie Night at Roger Dean Stadium, with the film "Rio" showing on a giant 20-foot screen following the game. Fans are welcome to spread out and watch from the outfield grass as popcorn and sodas will be sold after the ballgame for $1.00.
Tomorrow is also another Dog Days of Summer promotion, with fans invited to bring their furry best friends in to watch the game.
If the rotation holds steady right-hander Eric Fornataro (6-6, 3.92 ERA) will start tomorrow night for the Cardinals against righty Asher Wojciechowski (4-7, 5.72 ERA) for the Blue Jays, but all matchups are subject to change.
